I had never thought that there was such a high demand for Planet Dolan fan art. The YouTube account is mostly known for list vids, story vids, and life question vids, and it has of the most talented artists, writers, and voice actors this side of web content. I first tried my hand at it with these two drawings here and here, but it wasn't until I posted this rough of Melissa followed by this piece of Doopie where the likes and faves really came in. I didn't even put those two in groups to get extra views. I guess Melissa and Doopie are the most liked characters on Planet Dolan. I've got a sketchbook with a few more pencil sketches that I might post here as well.Who knows? Maybe Planet Dolan will give me some freelance work.

Also, I've noticed on her Twitter that Doopie recently became a short-haired brunette. Do you think that will have any impact on the show?

I had a GREAT time at Guardians of the Galaxy! I laughed, I cried, especially at the parts where I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT and then this one part where I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT, and you're not going to believe your eyes when I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT...

Wait, something's not right here. Hang on...

Oh, silly me. I left the Groot filter on by accident. This is going to take me a while to disable. In the meantime, you should definitely see this movie for yourselves.

It doesn't make any sense for me to be mad. So why an i?

Some might say that "mad" is one of those feelings with multiple meanings. Like instead of being mad-angry, I could be mad like the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. And I would have cosplayed as him just because, if my niece were able to use her seamstress skills for it (SPOILER: She can't, she can only modify dresses from patterns.) Others might say that I should be grateful to have such feelings, seeing that I'm not a robot. Then I wonder if it's worth being a robot. But then I'd probably have to go the Cybermen route, and that's just morbid (And that's the only Doctor Who reference I'm well aware of. I really did try to follow the series before Netflix yanked it forever.)

I think what I really need is to talk with someone. But not people I know. I'm always afraid that I'd be disturbing them, and that would make things even more awkward and frustrating. If there were any feeling lower than feeling alone, I think I'm experiencing it.

Well, modded Minecraft anyway.

Anyone remember the mod pack Crazycraft? Anyone? It takes the Orespawn mod and adds more mods that let you become your favorite superhero, practice witchcraft, expand your inventory with backpacks, and much more. It's an old mod pack, so nobody really plays it anymore. The newest mod pack on the Internet is Trollcraft, and I'm sure you've seen videos of these. Unfortunately, the mod pack creator is not going to release it ever, so we'll just have to settle for the YouTube videos. Not that it matters to me because each time I reach a point where I think I've made great progress, the game just gets tougher and tougher. I would say this is normal among regular games, but Minecraft is one of those games where there's no wrong way to play it.

Hey all three of you watching my profile.

So I've started practicing animation to give myself more confidence in my talents, and I'd like to share what I've done here on DeviantArt. From what I've read on the FAQ, it would appear that I need to apply for a DeviantFILM account? Is this true? Couldn't I just upload it to my Gallery page like I do with all my other artworks? I could just post YouTube links if that's more preferable.

So there I was, scrolling through my DA messages as usual, when I come across the Favorited Section where people add my works to their Favorites list. There is this one one individual who favorited not one, not two, but three Hunie Pop fan arts that I have done for my own amusement. The latest one being A Hunie Valentine, currently entered as we speak in the HuniePop-Fan Valentine's Day Contest! (Attempt # 2!). I have never been more humbled than in... well, ever. I mean, between my job searching and recording public domain audiobooks and trying to get some commission business going ($10 for OCs, a bargain in any sense of the word), I could not be happier.

So a big thanks goes out to bcx128 for liking the three Hunie Pop fan artworks, and niani362 for not only liking my work, but for being inspired to enter KYU-PID!! into the aforementioned contest. Good luck, friend!

And speaking of the contest, keep those entries coming in and show your support for the fan group!

I'm sure that some of us can agree that 2016 has not been very kind to us (President-Elect Trump, various deaths of our favorite celebrities, being rendered unemployable because of a legitimate mental impairment), but when it comes to DeviantArt, despite what my nephew says, the artworks that I've seen on my watchlist makes up for any unfortunate influence that could trigger anyone. Having said that, I would like to thank the DA community for helping to support my talent by adding my work to their favorites and bestowing upon me many llamas, and with the acquisition of Photoshop Elements, hopefully I can take my art to the next level. I would especially like to thank Cypher-DS for his fan fiction development of the world of HuniePot , darkc3po for being the nicest friend here that likes my work, SenshiStock for being the most awesome stock photo model on DeviantArt, customwaifus for being an awesome adult waifu artist, and AnneMarie1986 for being extremely creative and inspiring. You guys are the best DeviantArtists I am fortunate to know on this website. Have a great 2017, and I'll see you around!

Let's take all the cartoony-type indie games that are really popular and have one mega-crossover fanfic! We can feature the cast of Hunie Pop, Undertale, Five Nights at Freddy's (because I can actually take the time to type the entire title), and much more! Put Jack Septiceye as the main focus of the fanfic, and it will be the Best Train Wreck Ever!

Ever been so angry at something so insignificant and not vital to your existence (i.e. something you're not getting paid for like playing video games for your own amusement but you're not amused at all) that you begin to feel physically harmed by your own rage?

One of these days I'm going to record myself playing the Crazycraft mod pack of Minecraft, and I bet you I could make the best VO demo real that is just me screaming streams of curse words that don't fit which is pretty much my trademark.

And I still can't figure out Kyu's wing design to draw a proper interpretation.

I am a fan of Hunie Pop and Hunie Cam Studio.

There, I said it.

I have no shame. It's all I can think about. The characters, the personalities, the "story", they stick out in my mind like a dope ass di... uh... never mind. Bad analogy.

My point: I've always wanted to draw Kyu in a style that is not quite anime, yet not overly cartoony as in HCS. My own style, if you will. There are just two Achilles heels that are holding me back: a good pose, and drawing the frickin' wings!!! I don't know how the fan artists who contribute over at HuniePop-Fan do it, but there's got to be some kind of DeviantArt user who knows these things. customwaifus ? SenshiStock ? Beuller? Beuller? Anyone?

Sorry if I'm babbling. I ran out of Seroquel four days ago, and my insurance can't cover it without my doctor contacting them, which as far to my knowledge she hasn't. And that's why I didn't sleep last night. :(
I've been talking to my nephew about my commission plans, and it turns out that DeviantArt may not be the platform for me. I can't imagine why though. It's simple to use, open to a wide audience (some of whom have questionable but humorous tastes)...

... so how come I haven't gotten any paying customers?

Regardless, I've also set up a Tumblr and a Fiverr web page as an additional platform. Hopefully, I'll get noticed there.  I need an income, and my anxiety will not allow me to work an actual job.

Just want to make a quick shout-out to all the users out there who have favorited my work, gave me llamas, and just showed general appreciation. I know I don't have much work up here right now compared to most folks, most of whom are making a living off of commissions when I'm still trying to figure out the best plan for such a thing, and I don't quite have all the views, but I am grateful for the audience that I have right now and for being a positive influence in the community.

One of my Facebook friends keeps asking me to promote my artwork because I have such great talent that everyone needs to see, and I agree with her. She wrote this book which I provided illustrations for. You should definitely check out the book because not only does it support my friend, but it also shows what kind of artistic talent I have that you may need for any art assignments or collaborations that you have.

Again, thank you for all the support and caring in this community. I'm going to concentrate on providing more artwork and commentary here as well as working on setting up a YouTube gaming channel... while I still look for a permanent job. :(
As the title states, I got to see Zootopia, and ever since I saw Wreck-It Ralph, Disney has definitely developed its own CGI style. Still wish they'd stick with Traditional animation, but as long as they continue to publish the How-To-Draw books, I'll be fine (although I wonder why there's nothing for Wreck-It Ralph).

After the movie, I chatted with one of my friends who is a writer, and I discussed an example about a story idea that never really came about, and she gave some very good criticisms on why it would be confusing to the reader. Naturally, I'm more of the artist type than the writing kind, and we have collaborated together before, so I figure the next time we get together, I can lend her my book on writing comics just for her to look at and see if she can actually adapt her writing to the comic book script format.

Also, I should probably work very hard on character development. Create a bio or backstory instead of just putting the character out and making them do stuff. Why do they do it? What is their motivation? Who are they? What is the airspeed velocity of a weight-laden swallow?

I'm going to play Minecraft some more.
So, I've been using the Wacom Bamboo Fun drawing tablet for my digital art needs (not that I do any better than with pencil & paper). It does the job, but I notice that a large amount of digital artists here are using the more advanced Wacom Intuos tablets and have fantastic results with it (Also, they use either Photoshop or Paint Tool Sai). Since I'm currently not in the market to upgrade my tools (stupid unemployability status), I was wondering if there is anyone here who can offer suggestions as to how to make the best of what I have, which includes GIMP.
I know that I said once that I would not update journals monthly because it took too much work, especially when entries "get eaten" before you can publish them, but I just want to take the time out to say thank you to all those who have favorited any of my artworks within the past week or so. I know it's not often that I get to submit artwork to this site, even though that's what this site is for and I am a good enough artist according to my family and friends, but when I do get recognized for what I do submit, it just makes me feel good knowing that there are people out there who appreciate my work.

I think I'm going to try and get more practice out of my tablet that surprisingly still works. I need improvement on painting backgrounds and full-on digital portraits. Unfortunately, I don't see myself getting Photoshop, the industry standard, anytime soon, but GIMP makes for a great open-source substitute.

Again, thank you for recognizing my works and the effort that I put into them. I hope to create more in the near future.

And if anyone can tell me how to profit off of my art, either by commission or freelance, please leave a comment below.
It seems that no matter what I look at on DeviantArt, there will always be those artworks that will take me on an "adventure", mostly involving images of girls with big tits.

Do I have a problem?
DEVIANTART ATE MY JOURNAL ENTRY BECAUSE IT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RESET MY MOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT'S IT! I'M NO LONGER UPDATING THIS CRAP EVERY MONTH LIKE I SAID I WOULD! IT'S A WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!!
I think I figured out why I'm not getting as much notice as I'd like to on here. Not because of a lack of artistic activity, but because looking through each of my past journal entries, they somewhat tend to veer off towards the negative. Nobody wants to read that kind of whining.

My sister once told me to follow Kindness and Positivism. What sort of examples of these exist out there?
