As the title states, I got to see Zootopia, and ever since I saw Wreck-It Ralph, Disney has definitely developed its own CGI style. Still wish they'd stick with Traditional animation, but as long as they continue to publish the How-To-Draw books, I'll be fine (although I wonder why there's nothing for Wreck-It Ralph).

After the movie, I chatted with one of my friends who is a writer, and I discussed an example about a story idea that never really came about, and she gave some very good criticisms on why it would be confusing to the reader. Naturally, I'm more of the artist type than the writing kind, and we have collaborated together before, so I figure the next time we get together, I can lend her my book on writing comics just for her to look at and see if she can actually adapt her writing to the comic book script format.

Also, I should probably work very hard on character development. Create a bio or backstory instead of just putting the character out and making them do stuff. Why do they do it? What is their motivation? Who are they? What is the airspeed velocity of a weight-laden swallow?

I'm going to play Minecraft some more.
